The Villas

All villas will be unfurnished. They will be built with high specification materials and include a fully fitted kitchen with white goods, air conditioning and a double garage. All villas will take six months to build from when the plot is purchased. Furniture packs will also be available and cost between $6,000 - $10,000.

Santa Barbara de Samana
The exotic natural beauty of the Peninsula of Samana, located in the North East portion of the Dominican Republic, is now being embraced by people throughout the World due to the opening of the El Catey International Airport. The shores of the peninsula are lined by unspoiled bays with white sandy beaches, palm forests and Mangroves attracting all kinds of bird life.

The small, calm seaport of Samana (Santa Barbára de Samana) with its 50,000 inhabitants, is
situated on the southern shore of the picturesque Bay of Samana. Fishing boats and ferries anchor peacefully next to tourist tour boats and international sailing yachts at the new harbour and Marina. This harbour is the starting point for all the Whale watching tour boats.

Samana Bay is a World famous sanctuary for the Humpback  whales. During December to March, they come to mate and give birth to their young ones. Samana offers great diversity. Enjoy the small bays and islands with sandy beaches, aquatic sports, tours, and Lomo de Chivo golf course, nestling in its own hilly tropical garden. Three new large golf courses are planned in and around the Samana area.

Near the harbour there are numerous international restaurants, as well as bars and discotheques. The town is the capital of the providence of Samana and includes governmental offices, clinics, banks, supermarkets and small shops.

 

The Investment

Villa prices start from $195,750 (£97,875*).
For the first twenty clients that purchase, SLG Property will pay the closing costs of 3%**.

With the boom in development and leisure facilities around Samana, including the new golf course, proposed marina west of Las Terrenas and the new international airport in the Samana region, property prices are rising rapidly and now is the time to buy!

Depending upon the proximity of the beach a typical property with three to four bedrooms with a swimming pool in a gated community, would be worth between US$ 250,000 – US$ 500,000.  In the future substantial growth is expected, similar to the other Caribbean Islands.

Once the villa is built there will be a 10% guaranteed rental income for two years**. After this it will be a 50/50 split with the management company.
